RPGMapShare IRC Channel

I've registered an IRC channel for RPGMapShare, in case anyone wants to hang out and chat.

I've also installed a simple IRC chat page internal to the site here, for those who aren't familiar with IRC and don't want to install anything.

The channel is on irc://otherworlders.org/rpgmapshare

Or just #rpgmapshare if you're already on otherworlders.org.

I look forward to seeing folks there!

Also, apparently an IRC channel will expire if there is no activity in 30 days, I think. So, I've downloaded Pidgin as an IRC client and will attempt to always remain logged in. SO, even though my name might show in the channel, I may not be around to respond. I do have an IRC client for my Blackberry, but haven't tried it. That might be a better way for me, though if the channel gets busy, it will become an annoyance with all the alert sounds at work Wink

I'm fine with there not being an IRC applet, being in several other channels myself, but I realise it might be of interest to others.
Then again, I don't judge it's priority very high, seeing as apparently very few people frequent that channel. Would be nice to have a place to hang out though Smile
But no hurries.
