M-113 ACAV

M-113 ACAV (Armored Cavalry Assault Vehicle).

The M113 originally had an unprotected .50 gunner on the roof. Exposed, they took heavy losses, so were eventually given a gunshield.
Later the ACAV kit came out - not only did the gunner get a little turret, but a couple of M-60 machineguns were added at the sides, usable when the rear hatch was open.
