Question regarding difficulty downloading images
I'm having difficulty downloading images. I'm trying to put together a collection for an upcoming campaign in Maptools and this site appears to be perfect for what I'm looking for.
However, when I collect items in my cart and then "download in zip", I get the following errors:
In Chrome:
"This webpage is not found. No webpage was found for the web address: http://rpgmapshares.com/index.php?q-gallery&g2_view=zipcart.Download&g2_.... Error 6 (net::ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND): The file or directory could not be found."
In Firefox:
Downloads fine, but only the first 23.4 Mb. Unfortunately this usually means I only get the first 6 or 7 images and then it cuts off there. I've tried it repeatedly for different cart contents and it is always 23.4 Mb.
In Internet Explorer:
"Internet Explorer cannot download index.php from rpgmapshare.com. Internet Explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is eitehr unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later"
Again, the site contents are exactly what I need for my campaign with Maptools and I appreciate all the effort taken to collect this so I'm very hopeful someone can help me figure out why I can't seem to download more than just a few pictures at a time.
Thanks!

No one else has mentioned
No one else has mentioned this. I can only imagine there is a general security setting or something that is affecting all your browsers, or possibly cookie settings.
How many items were in your cart when you tried? Have you tried just a handful of images to see if that makes a difference?
If anyone else has had any issues, please comment here.
Hello all, I'm new to this
Hello all, I'm new to this site and this is my first post on here. I would like to first state that his site rocks!
Anyway, I'm having (almost) the exact same problem. I'm using Firefox and the largest .zip file I can download using the Cart/download-in-zip fashion is 23.1 Mb
I had a couple of building archives in cart only amounting to about 115Mb in total, but while downloading the .zip file decided to stop at 23.1 Mb. I would like to point out that when I downloaded just one archive (Misc4A-F_Object_.zip) it downloaded fine, but its only 8.69 Mb.
Are there any torrent files for full galleries available? I'd be happy to seed something like that until the cows come home. ^_^
Till then I'll be leaching at a steady rate of 1 file every whenever-I-remember-to-because-i'm-off-drawing-in-maptool

Ok, I can duplicate this, and have posted a question to the Gallery software site. Hopefully someone will have an answer shortly.

You could try using Free
You could try using Free Download Manager. FDM is a plugin that I've used for Firefox for years and it's very good in my experience.

That wouldn't help. It was an issue with PHP memory that didn't manifest in previous versions of the gallery software.

I've been having trouble with a few galleries. I have read the post on the front page. I am only downloading one gallery at a time. Some of these problem galleries always error and have less images than other galleries.
Currently when I try to download from the following galleries I get the download box stating "Trying to get file information from index.php" and then sits there forever and the download never starts downloading. I have tried this on multiple machines with very fast and regular internet connections and the behavior is the same.
The galleries in question are:
Modern Military Vehicles
Modern Misc.
Fantasy Misc.
Fantasy structures.
As is mentioned elsewhere,
As is mentioned elsewhere, downloading entire albums can cause problems. It's not so much number of images in an album as it is size of the images. I'd recommend browsing the galleries and taking what you need instead of plopping the whole album in your cart. So, of the albums you've mentioned, go into each and add a few items to your cart, then download. That will tell you that the gallery is ok, and that most likely it's the size of all the items added to your cart that is the issue.
